This research examines the relationship between alcohol outlets and social harm measured by Police activity and road traffic crashes. The analysis uses a longitudinal panel data set for the period 2007-2014 covering all of New Zealand.

The original report was released in November 2016, with a revision published on January 2017. Version 3 was published in 2019.
