Mind the Gap: Overarching view of equity in health in New Zealand

A following by Dr Collin Tukuitonga from the National Heart Foundation as part of our tobacco control's Pan Pasifika Fono in 2020.

The Pan Pasifika Fono was held on 4th and 5th November 2020 at the Ellerslie Event Centre in Auckland. The Fono had a common goal of working towards achieving equity for the health and wellbeing of Pacific people, with a particular focus on food, nutrition and tobacco control.

This was a unique opportunity to bring like-minded Pacific people together in a forum to network, be innovative, mobilise, energise, empower, inspire and learn something new.

The fono partners include Pacific Heartbeat | Heart Foundation, Te Hiringa Hauora | Health Promotion Agency and Tala Pasifika.
